I'm here to release my frustrations this time round.

I'm dead tired now actually and it's time for bed but i cant go to sleep just yet.

I've still need to memorise my speech for tomorrow's presentation, I still need to clean the house for the house inspection tomorrow.

The thing i dont like about sharing houses is when the others does not pull their own weight in cleaning the house. It's winter term and everyone is suppose to clean the house but it seems that its only me that cleans it most of the time.

Once in awhile another would help me.

I'me already sick and tired of being the one that mostly takes out the trash.

After the bin has been left even when its full, more trash still ends up on it and it just becomes really heavy to bring out. For the pass 3 weeks i have been taking the trash out.

I dont know what else to say already. Im really going to break down if the admin charge me cleaning fee if the condition of the house is not up to their standards.

apart from that, i had seemed to loose my motivation to study.

I know that i dont really have the right to complain about this but I just really want to say it out hoping that i might feel much better after this.

I so far had not had a real break since the beginning of the year when the semester started.

even when there was public holidays or a no class period, i had been stressed in trying to finish off the assignments.

I really dont know how all workers are able to work through the year and I dont hear a single complain about it.

the people around are on break but i had taken the internship unit to lessen my study load for semester 2 resulting in no breaks at all. I guess i really brought it onto myself.

I couldn't not take up winter term as my timetable last year was messed up due to the clashing of timetables so i'm still stuck doing winter without break.

i'm right now afraid of what might happen when i do finish my studies.

i'm also afraid of failing my subjects that i'm currently taking.

i'm afraid of not getting a job to support myself.

i'm afraid of going back.

i'm afraid of moving forward.

i'm afraid of just about loads of things.

i now do noticed that i've lived a really sheltered life thanks to my parents.

They had kept in safe from harm and i'm now here about to step into the real world.

i do know that i'm i dare not take that step but i had to.

i can't be stagnant as time waits for no one.

I don't know what to do already....

i'm even making myself feeling more depressed now.

I should stop. I do hope that a good sleep would help.

fingers crossed.

i really should get back to doing what i need to do if not the night would even be longer

= an even grumpier me.

i shall be back when the time is better....

A second time

Hey everyone,

How have you all been? It's already winter over here and it's pretty cold.

To those of you in countries that are currently experiencing winter,

remember to bundle up in lots of blankets to keep yourself warm!

The plans book for the Global IAA Competition on Canon is already done and sent.

I've also started my winter term for one of the subjects that I had to take.

well, it's been awhile since I had been posting here. Thinking back now, I've been writing in my reflective journal for the 'internship' as part of an assessment so I didn't feel like writing in my blog.

hehehe XP

Since it's over so here I am now to share on something thats happened to me.

Just recently, I had blacked out in my bus ride to Belconnen Mall.

I actually had to get some cleaning supplies as well as groceries for the house.

It was getting dark and I knew that I would not reach there by foot before it the sun set so

rushed for the bus. I managed to get on the bus and when I got on, I could feel that my heartbeat was really fast and it felt like it was about to pumped out of my chest.

Next thing I know, I started to feel weird - like my body just felt cold as if my blood was drained.

I couldn't pin point the exact feelings I felt but that time,

I couldn't really hear the songs playing on my ipod (it was like I was loosing my sense of hearing) and my visual was slowly turning dark.

I knew that I was about to faint but I couldn't stop it.

I held onto a nearby pole and leaned against the baggage area of the bus praying to God that i'll be alright.

When I came to my senses, I wasn't standing in the exact position that I had before I lost my conscious but thank God I wasn't on the ground.

It took me all my might to get myself back up and get into a nearby seat that was just vacated.

The bus then stopped at the terminal and I waited until everyone left before getting off myself.

I quickly went straight to the chairs at the terminal and sat there for another 5 to 10 minutes till I regained back most of my energy.

When I could finally move my arms properly, I took off my coat and scarf while the people around were in their big cosy coats. I was drenched in cold sweat.

I then continued on to get the groceries and supplies. I never quite gained back all my energy that night but it was enough for me to buy the things i needed and get back home.

Ever since that day, I sorta try not to get onto buses unless I really do need to.

I wasn't sure why it happened but I really do thank God that I didn't fall onto the floor in the bus and that I knew how fainting would feel like since I did faint in a clinic before.

I guess it sure comes in handy that you know if you're going to faint and try not to do so.

I can't imagine what would happen if I really did fainted and ended up on the floor.

I would have caused trouble to the people on the bus.

The thing i hate about knowing that I was about to loose conscious is that I couldn't do anything to stop it. It took me all my might to just hold onto the pole.

I felt so powerless and not knowing of what might happen next.

I hated myself for that.

anyway, that was my encounter.

I hope no one have or will have to experience this.

It's not a nice feeling at all.

Copywritting

Hey ppl!

it took longer than i expected to post up my work on the assignment that i told you about in the last post.

It's nothing fancy actually. I wanted to upload more but it so happen that the files are in pdf and i cant upload it here. There's a magazine piece i did with a transparency too and i was hoping that i would get it back from the tutor (so that i can take a picture of it) but it seems that I would not be able to.

He's on a holiday. We'll he is suppose to be around but his wife planned a 'surprise' holiday to Fiji.

so he's not around. anyway, what i have left that i can post here is the ambient media and the billboard.

oh yea, just to fill you all in,

Copywriting isn't the subject on Law. haha

It's a subject for advertising and marketing.

So, what we were told to do is to come up with a campaign for Alfa Romeo Giulietta and the whole idea/tagline for it. The campaign must run using 5 different media.

What i came up was : Live and Relive the moment.

the tagline used is live and relive the moment, with a little extra.

The 5 different media i chose was Radio, TVC, ambient, billboard and print.

I really dont havve the mood to go into details for this as im currently really worried about my marks for this. It's 50% of my whole grade and i do hope i did well for it.

I really did struggled when i was o this assignment. Since i did say that i'd post this up so here it is.

so the medias are as follows:

Radio Script – 30 seconds

FX: Giulietta car doors unlock

FX: High heels tapping echoes reflecting the sound of a woman’s confident stride

FX: Giulietta’s car door being opened and closed

FX: Sounds of whispering ‘look’ (the woman walking is gaining attention)

Scene 11: She sat down, purse on table.

Scene 12: She ordered coffee. Waiter brought her coffee.

Scene 13: The waiter gave her a slice of cake. The scene shows waiter explaining to the about the cake and her bill being paid for.

Scene 15: The women smiled back. The man gestured a Hi to her. She had her coffee and a bit of the cake.

Secondly, i have handed in all my major assignments!! I'm so happy!

In my last post, I had talked about the difficulty of completing my magazine layout?

well, Thank God i've finished it. I managed to get it done a day earlier due to the printing studio is closed. I've made an appointment and manage to get it printed on high quality paper.

I'm so glad that it's over and i'm also happy that i can say that i had designed a magazine. hahaha well an eight page magazine. Ii'm so happy that i've accomplished it that i'm posting it here to share it with you all~

The magazine designed is on street art. The dummy text is provided by my tutor.

The pictures used in the magazine are taken by me though~ ^o^

Apart from being able to submit my magazine layout on tuesday, i've also managed to finish my copywriting assignment too. For copywriting, we had to think of a theme for a campaign that is to market Alfa Romeo Giulietta. It me half a semester to come up with the final submission (well, it's actually lesser than that as i spend most of my time on the microsoft protoge and magazine layout - you dont have to tell other ppl kay? XP) hahaha

i'll upload the photos of my copywriting assignment in my next post because i would need to take a picture of it. hehehe

hey hey,

i'm here yet again.

i'm here yet again to procrastinate...

hahaha

so the update of my life since the last time i posted....

well, my group and i had finished our report and presentation for microsoft protege 2011!

we were so glad it was over that right after, we went to Max Brenner (a shop that sells chocolate delicacies). I had a Tutti Fruity Waffle with Vanilla Ice cream and a strawberry float.

it was delicious and it did burn a hole in my purse.

after that, we went shopping! well, i went WINDOW shopping. XP

It was fun and i rested on Saturday that turned out as not a good idea.

I have to rush my magazine layout assignment.

i used the whole of sunday to do it and it's still not done.

I also still have copywriting and a duo presentation coming up.

sigh

loads of work huh?

this is the life of a university student.

I do wonder how some of my friends always seem to be out and yet they can get good grades while i spend most of my time doing my work and am only able to get CR for most of my work.

is it because i procrastinate too much? XP

hehehe

oh oh!

last night i dreamt of Dong Bang Shin Ki/JYJ's Kim Jae Joong.

It's been ages since i last dreamt about any of the members.

They are in such a pityful situation and yet i can dream about it.

weird but yet i am still happy.

the dream was just basically about me meeting him at a restaurant.

He was actually eating and i so happen to go there as well.

he finished his meal and i thought he looked familiar. he was about to walk off

so i decided to call out to him.

"Excuse me" i said a few times as i walked closer but there weren't any response as her turned to leave. I then pluck up my courage and spoke in Japanese "Sumimasen. Sumimasen, Jejung desuka". He then turned and look surprise.

the rest of the dream just went with me trying to speak with him in Japanese since he's english isnt that good. I manage to take a picture with him as well and the owner of the restaurant's daughter brought out a present and it went on to celebrating jae joong's birthday. Before the birthday scene came, i woke up.

it was a pleasant dream dont you think?

hahaha

it's been awhile and i do wonder why jae joong?

what happened to the other members?

anyway, that's my dream.

okay, i shall return to my assignment. I actually need to have all my sketches done

before class tomorrow. I'm so so behind.

At times like this, i do wish that my assignments will finish themselves off and earn me good grades. hahaha!

It's been ages. How have you all been?

i hope each of you are fine and are doing really well.

okay, first things first,

My major is Advertising and Marketing Communication.

I really did miss blogging~

I've been busy with my assignments and i cant believe how fast time pass by.

every week, i've been trying my best in completing my graphic design assignment,

study for my weekly quizzes, keeping up with trying to remember what i've learnt in

my Japanese class and also doing lots of research for a competition that we are made to enter

due to it being a big part of the subject assessment.

Though it sound little, i've really been busy and I still neglect one of my subject that is copywriting.

I have a 50% final assessment due in 3 more weeks and there's tones to do for my Transnational Advertising subject. The competition does take up loads of my time.

Though most of the research component is almost done, i'm in charge of doing the creatives and i'm currently having a designers idea blockage?

hahaha

With all the work that i have to do, i'm still here right?

hehehe

i've been feeling real lazy, today, after the 5 hour meeting and work on the competition report,

i just dont feel like doing any other work.

so right now i'm just lazing around reading manga and currently blogging.

anyway,

i'll just stop here for now.

I guess its time for me to stop procrastinating. hehe

I've been learning Japanese and so far,

my class has learnt how to write in hiragana and katakana.

It took us about 3 weeks to memorize and write hiragana but

the tutors rush through katakana within a week.

I've been having difficulty trying to remember katakana and i'm doing alright with hiragana.

I'm posting this just to share a little on what i had managed to type in japanese now.

hahaha

have fun figuring out what i had just typed in japanese without using a translator.

hehehe

hey all!!!

i'm safe and sound in Australia~

it's been awhile since my last post. I apologise yet again.

*bows*

i'll do my usual updates again.

I'm currently living on campus and i'm finding it alright so far.

It's my first time living away from home and i'm glad that i've

been doing alright ever since i got here.

when i had to leave Malaysia, it was really tough.

I couldn't even look at my parents' face when i stepped onto the escalator towards the immigration counter in the airport.

I just waved and said goodbye without hugging them.

If i were to hug them, i would definitely be crying...

and that would be SO embarrassing.

Imagine someone at the age of 21 crying at the airport just because of studying abroad?

OMG!

yea. I'm already 21 this year and i couldn't celebrate my birthday with my family.

it's sad yes and yet it's a whole new experience.

Somehow, my birthday wish is different this year.

Is it because of the change of age?

Is it a sign of adulthood?

hahaha

I've said this before but i'll type it here to let you readers know.

The year of 2011 is a year full of firsts.

I'm 21 in the year 2011.

so it's like a special year for me.

hehe

I had my first experience travelling on all 3 types of train rides (KTM, LRT and monorail) in 1 DAY!

I had my first experience window shopping in Pavilion, Time Square, and Fahrenheit shoppingmall.

I had my first experience taking a flight all on my own

I had my first experience of having about 13 hour long journey

I had my first experience living away from my family (and abroad too)

I had my first experience dying my hair

I had my first experience drinking alchahol (i've only had less than a 1/4 of Heineken& i'm not too keen on drinking it again)

yea, so that's some of my first experience.

I'd like to thank you readers out there for reading my blog.

I've started this blog without the intention of making it the blog where everyone would read what they want to read but

rather a place where i could pour out my feelings, conserve my memories, and share my experiences.

So, thank you for taking the time to read and also to those that 'followed'.

I'm really happy that you all would want to read about my little life.

Back in Malaysia~

Hey all,

I'm now back in Malaysia~~~~

I've actually landed here on the 22nd of december but it is not until today that i could use the internet and put up post in my blog.

It was really unsettling for me to go through the last week without internet.

Thank god for the mountain of Mangas, books in my room and my dear friends who had invited me out.

I would have died of boredom.

so, THANK YOU!!!!

I've taken tons of photos but i have not taken it out of the camera yet.

I promise to post it up real soon~

i still got more packing to do -

as in cleaning up my room.

Dad just told me that the container has arrived but the boxes will only be transported sometime

tomorrow or in the next few days.

I didn't expect it to come so fast.

sigh

I've been packing since a month+ and even when i get back here i still have tonnes to pack.

when is it ever going to end?

Hey all,

i find packing really NOT enjoyable.

I've actually got about 10 boxes for australia but after going to a friends room and checking it out,

I now have to go through all my stuff again and repack it to reduce the amount of boxes.

sigh.

I seem to find almost everything to be important so it's so hard to narrow things down...

I wonder how other people do it.

I so wish that the packers don't come early so that i've got more time to pack but knowing myself,

i'll take my own sweet time. XP

hehehe

on another matter,

I've been coughing for about 2 and a half weeks.

It's much better now actually but i'm still coughing.

I've taken some pills that was supposedly very effective (it cured my other family members) but it didn't work on me.

I think my friends are even tired from hearing me cough but i just can't help it.

I've even refrained myself from drinking anything else other than water.

(so far i manged to not drink soft drinks and i'm still trying to cut down any other sweet drinks)

cough cough go away~

Boxes Everywhere

Parents have been busy with packing.

The due date is coming - packers will be coming next monday to pack all our stuff to ship it back to Malaysia.

Right now,

I have to sort out my stuffs yet again to piles.

1. Bring back to Malaysia

2. Keep it in Australia

sigh.

this is so troublesome.

i can't even imagine how my life will be after my parents fly back to malaysia....

currently my family seem to be doing fine and i think it's due to the amount of work we have to do before the packers arrive.

apart from that,

im also anxiously waiting for my end of semester results.

It's actually not out until the 17th of december but

some of marks can be calculated before hand.

I do hope that my marks would real good!

It'd be great if i get HDs for my whole subject...

i never did get it except for 3 of my assesments.

i hope i get it~

hey all,

thank you to those that had emailed me personally, i really do appreciate your thoughts and support.

Just a little update,
my uncle has managed to get a job in kenya.
(FYI, he used to work in Nigeria)

Thank you all for praying and pls do continue to pray for us.
I'm still a bit worried whether the offer is legit though.
My family is still trying real hard to save money and i do hope things will be better.

My semester has officially ended.
Initially i thought my semester ended earlier but just a few days ago,
i received an email from my integrated communications campaign group that my group was chosen to present to ACP Magazine Coorporation for the Top Gear Magazine Pitch.
The last two days was spent with me busy editing the presentation slides.
Today - at 11.45am, my group presented.
I introduced the group and then went on to clicking the slides.
I've used prezi to present the slides and i'm happy that i did it.
It's different from the usual slides and some ppl think it's really hard to do it so i'm happy.

Now i'm just blogging to update you guys on the current happenings.

I've also managed to get the offer letter for the on-campus accommodation.
Now, i'm just waiting for the room allocation.

yup, so that's all for now.

Wow!

It's been ages since i last blogged.

Okay, to fill you all on what's happening.

1. as usual, a student has loads of assignments so i'm currently busy with my assignments.

it's officially the last week of the semester for me and i still have heaps to do.

most of my friends have one or two more assignments left but i have 5 (i had a final presentation today so i'm left with 5)

what's left?

a. creative pitch for ICC

b. research paper for CTC

c. online quiz for CTC

d. final report for ICC

e. 50% exam for Cont. Issues of Tourism and Events.

2. Directly after my last day of the semester, i would need to start packing my stuff again.

at the end of last month, my family had already started packing but it was just chucking all our things into boxes because of a house inspection that were subjected to.

This time round, it's packing for good. I'd have to take out my belonging out of the boxes and sort it all over again.

I'd have to get rid of stuff, sort it according to things that i'd want to sent back home and also things that i want to keep here.

3. As mentioned earlier, i had a presentation today.

It was a creative pitch for Floriade Nightfest.

I'm happy that i manage to present without reading from my notes and i (we- another girl that i did it with) even got praises from our tutor that we did well.

Our tutor told us and a few other groups (who also did Floriade) that she thinks Zoo Advertising had the Floriade account. Why did our tutor tell us this?

She wants to try contacting them to have our report for the pitch presented to them.

It could mean that we might have the chance to present it to the advertising agency.

So, this is the good news for today and i was just so excited.

4. when i got home, i smell something burning and i was told by my brother that it was potatoes.

The atmosphere in the house was just plain weird. Unfortunately, im so excited that i was blind.

(i guess im just plain self-centered) I spoke to my mum and she listened (i didn't even touch on the no. 3 issue yet) but she was not her usual self. I then noticed that she did not look me in the eye/face at all.

She walked away, my brother sending signals that i so do not get what he was trying to say. I tried asking what's wrong but my mum didn't say anything. I just hugged her and she burst into tears.

This scene is usally the other way round. I still wonder what is exactly bothering my mother.

My mum did not say anything, my dad did not say anything and my brother just told me not to ask my parents.

I'm not satisfied from hearing what was the story about from him but i want to hear it from my mother. All I know now is that my family is in a tight spot.

It's shocking and i'm actually clueless to how i should handle this.

I'm here and typing this but my head is telling me that the reality has not sunk in yet.

Due to this, i don't know what or how to feel.

I couldn't open my mouth to even talk about my day.

i can't talk to anyone so this blog is where i come to type my thoughts.

To those who are reading this, could you all do me a favour?

Please pray for my family. Ask God to help, guide and protect my family and I.

Ask God to give us strength mentally and physically to overcome the situation that we are currently in.

Also pray for my uncle too. I think that he would most be affected with this predicament.

Pray that he would turn to God for help and think rationally. My family needs him.

Thank you all in advance and i do appreciate it if you could keep my family and i in your prayers.

I've got to go and continue to work even harder.

It's such a shame though.

I couldn't stay longer for the official candle lighting ceremony.

i really did enjoy myself even though the whole time it was only me and my mum.

I just don't know why but i was feeling really happy.

it's just that today,

when i hear people speaking japanese (there were a number of highschool students from Nara highschool, a school from Japan), The presentations (singing) were in japanese and even the food were Japanese and i just felt so happy.

I ate Mochi, Takoyaki, Fried Udon(i forgot the name of the dish),

I saw how Mochi was made,

I saw kendo today,

I wrote my own name in japanese,

I wrote my wish and tied it onto the wishing tree,

these things, i have not thought of ever having the chance to see it.

haha

well i did see Kendo before but that was on tv,

it's so different than when we watch it with our own eyes.

Overall, i'm real glad that i'm able to experience such things.

Yup, i had my presentation today and i had to dress up as a guy- working guy.

i had to change my voice too and when i did that,

the class practically laughed.

half way through my speech, i broke out into laughter.

I wish i hadn't though sigh.

It's just that i can't stand/ resist myself from laughing when i see others laughing

and it's the same as crying...

sigh.

i had made a fool out of myself.

why does it have to be someone laughing at my presentation every time i do so?

i don't know if it was good or bad that i wore this outfit the whole day.

Hello again fellow readers,

It's the middle of the night right now and i just have the feeling of blogging and so here i am right now.

okay, regarding the assessment i mentioned in the last post,

i had done my part in compiling and editing it.

What's left of it is to prepare my speech/presentation for monday and of course the submitting

on Sunday. I still have not heard back from my group members so i have to wait for them before i can manage to submit it.

i still got loads of assignments that are due soon but i don't know why, i just feel so tired.

It's like i'm all worn out and tired.

I don't have the mood to tackle my assessments like how i did for my report.

It just died out.

I notice that i've been digging my harddrive for unwatched movies and i've so far watched

3 movies and 1 jdrama. that is within 5 days.

how bad is that?

The Jdrama, i didn't mind watching it as that time, i really do need a break from my report so i watched it at night.

For the 3 movies,i should have refrained myself from watching it.

I had also downloaded mangas to read as well.

So right now, I really have to buck up and start doing my work again.

It's hard but what can i do?

i'm sure that i wont be the only one struggling.

every student sure have their own distractions in their own forms.

I do miss high school.

Can't believe that i used to hate it.

haha

we're humans so that's what we do right?

haha

hey fellow readers,

how has your week been?

I have to worn you that this post might be depressing again.

There's too much happening right now.

When i say happening, it doesn't mean by partying happening but assignment happening.

wonder what's assignment happening?

It's when 2 or 3 assessment items from different subjects going on all at the same time.

and thats what happening to me now.

So right now, i'm using my blog to rant.

Honestly, I can't cope with all that's happening.

today itself, i've been in front of the computer from afternoon till now(with occasional toilet breaks and dinner).

i've been doing research for a report due coming sunday.

The softcopy is due on sunday but the hardcopy and presentation is due on monday.

I can't stand it and i feel that i'm about to break any moment.

I'm taking this moment to blog to rant, de-stress and let myself breath.

okay, to those who doesn't know me,

I'm a 2nd year university student and i'm currently doing 3 3rd year and 1 2nd year subject in a semester.

even with this 4 subjects i have difficulty coping i really don't know how come there are some people i know are able to do 5 or 6 subjects in a semester.

I'm not the type to go out partying (and i have not been in a nightclub before)

I don't always hangout with friends but i still can't seem to cope with my studies.

My internet surfing for kpop and other stuff has drastically dropped and still it's not working.

How do you manage your time then?

anyone willing to share?

I know... It's been ages.

After going through the list of songs,

there were only 2 songs that i have not heard before and

Toki wo tomete is one of them.

Dental.......

heys,

i'm feeling depressed right now.

Today just felt like a long day.

I woke up at about 8.

Printed out some documents for uni,

went to Dickson to pay some bills,

Returned some DVDs borrowed from the public library,

had my dental appointment,

went to uni for my workshop which lasted for 3 hours,

went to a supermarket to get some batteries,

had dinner and now i'm at the laptop.

the main reason im feeling depressed right now is about my dental appointment.

The cost of the appointment is about AUD$150 but i had only paid AUD$90.

(due to insurance, manage to get it cheaper)

The cost is expensive but this time, my dental appointment had not only the dentist to check

my teeth but also x-ray it.

For the past week, i had been feeling slight pain at my gums.

it comes and go and i told the dentist about it.

The dentist then briefed me on my teeth and said that my teeth looks fine.

I was asked if i had any major examinations going on or i fell sick in the past few weeks.

I said nope and i was told to watch out and in the next 2 weeks if i still have to go back and

he will refer me to a specialist.

the check up was AUD70 while the x-ray was AUD$42 each (x-rayed 2 sides) = AUD$150-ish

dad was furious when he found out the amount of money paid

and he kept on saying that the people out there are money minded and doesn't care at all & etc...

i felt angry and sad.

To me, i felt that the money paid was worth it.

My teeth are important to me. (i have my reasons but i now choose not to type it all out)

dad said that the dentist is money minded - yea, so? i know they can be money minded but the dentist did it to find out the cause of the pain i've been feeling.

Dad said they didn't care - if they didn't care, at least they showed that they actually cared for me/ my teeth. They even remembered what was our conversation topic the last time i had a check up (that was about end of last year!)

At least they remember and showed that they care for me, not like dad who cares more for his money than his own daughter.

I wouldn't mind forking up the money from my bank account then to pay for my appointment.

sigh.

i'm also having a massive headache right now.

I've been having it since 2/2.30pm and it's now at night.

i'm really hoping that this helps in lessening the sad feelings i have right now....

but it doesn't seem to be effective....

i guess i'll just have to let time do its job.

i'm sorry to you readers for this sad and depressing post.

i promise that i'll come back with a happier post next time round.

I had not intended to blog at 3 in the morning but I do want to voice what I am about to write. Another reason to why I am blogging this is also to remind of myself of what I had learnt.

I have always been the type of girl who would laugh when a story is funny, cry when the story is sad or touching but never had I felt pain in my chest and tears not being able to freely flow due to it. It was like, feeling too much pain, surpassing the stay where tears could flow.

I had watched many movies, Korean dramas, I had read novels after novels (romance novels to be exact and in two languages too), laughed many laughs and cried many tears but it is my first to feel such pain, such pressure, such a feeling that I can’t really describe and cried tears that are different yet the same. The best I could describe it is that I was feeling pain. It’s the only thing I could find to describe it.

If you are wondering, what has happened to me?

Welcome to the Underworld has happened to me.

It is a fanfiction written by Con.template.

It revolves around two main characters named Choi Yoori and Kwon Tae Hyun in the Underworld and the struggles between two people and… love.

The characters are made up and the word fanfiction doesn’t do justice for it. It would be a fiction but then that doesn’t really do as well.

I would say that it’s an artwork.

Con.template had made me go through a journey full of humor, twists, friendship, loyalty, tragedy, triumphs, sadness and happiness and I can’t thank you (Con.template) enough for having posted your work online. This will be one of the very pieces that I will remember for a vey long time.

I had read remarkable fanfictions such as Undertones of Forever, Sunshower, Midnight City, Fist & Lipstick, Wedding Wrecker, Conversations between Us, The Bartender and the Beast, Joie de Vivre(joys of life) and so on. I had spent a lot of my time reading them until the wee hours in the morning, I enjoy them but after reading Welcome to the Underworld, I can say that it’s different from the rest. It might be just me but it does feel that Welcome to the Underworld IS different from the rest.

Just to let you know if you’re lost and wondering what on earth am I writing here.

I apologise for doing so. This post is actually mainly posted to be a reminder to me.

There’s also another thing you should know (for those who are going to continue reading what I am about to type) is that I’m the type of person that once I take up a novel to read, I would not put it down. Not if I HAVE to. In many cases when I was in the middle of a book (I would mean novel/story by that – it would never happen to me with a text book) and my parents are calling and bugging me to leave my room, my mood will be changed instantly and I’ll be an unpleasant person to meet... unless it was ultimately my choice of putting the book down for a break. I tend to immerse myself into the story, taking the journey together with the characters and grow with them throughout the story from beginning to the end.

So hopefully to those who had read my post until now, understands what kind of reader I am and the fact that I mentioned a few of the fanfics above means that they are actually good. Apart from that, I’m a communication student as well and I had taken a course on understanding media so I do know the few theories taught and I can understand the pieces wrote better than I used to.

Now that I had finished Welcome to the Underworld and had written about 650 words after reading it, I’m trying to find out the reason to why do I feel such feelings I mentioned earlier from reading the last chapters.

The part that I could think of is the fact that until today, I had not shown much love interest to the opposite gender. I had not thought about finding a partner, I had not thought of marriage, what more children. Friends around tells me about their love life and their wishes to find that special someone but I had not once shown interest. In terms of crushes, I had a few back in my school days but it only lasted for a short period of time(when I say short, it means real short).

I do wonder about it some time and the most bizarre thing that I thought was that I could be a lesbian. What other explanation could I get from thinking about the above? Especially right now that I am in Australia, it’s not a big issue being a lesbian here and people here are not afraid to show it. Then again if I were so then why do I read romance story one after another. It doesn’t seem right to me. Well, I am after all the weirdest in my group of friends….

Well, after reading welcome to the Underworld, I can say that i think I found the reason to what I had written 2 paragraphs up. I never did open myself up to love. My mother had timelessly ask me to leave my own bubble and face the world. I had been locked up safely in my own world, playing my own fantasy and never really did step out of it. It could be that Im afraid of it. I never experienced it and I couldn’t, wouldn’t dare go near it.

Reading about the love in Welcome to the Underworld had showed me that love is worth it despite the fact that it doesn't conquer all. Love is also about sharing and caring for another and I guess it will change a selfish person (like me). With what was said, I reckon I’d try finding Paris as well…..

It will take time. It’ll be hard for me as well to actually step out of my own world but as what Con.template had mentioned over and over again throughout her work, "No one said finding Paris would be easy; they only said it would be worth it."

as the title said, i had baked my 1st official cake.
I've baked cakes before but they are all either from pre-mixed packets or i had my mum do it with me.

this time round, i baked the cake from scratch by myself with a little guidance from my mum.

it's a strawberry, marmalade sponge cake.

my, i sound so...... weird 0o0

anyway, I couldn't believe how fast time flew by.

The last time i post was on the trip to snowy mountains... that was in may

and now????

its august!

I've been busy with my assignments but for the past week, i've been having my break.

My first few days of break was good...

On thursday last week, it was officially the first day of my break even when my classes stopped on tuesday.

The reason why i said it was due to me having to be the MC for iFocus (christian Fellowship in Uni)

It's just a small group of.... usually 10 people who attend. so it's not that big and i'm still learning....

i'm actually petrified about speaking in front of people and i'd just freak out.

I sorta volunteered for the MC-ing just so that i could practice speaking to a group of people.

I noticed my presentation for assignments are getting better too.

i would usually read, i mean really READ my text when i was in front of the class.

last tuesday(my last day of class for Winter Term),

my group and I had to present our group work that is related to how we were to rebrand our Uni's Faculty of Arts and Design to the market.

We had to not only present it to the class and our tutor but also to the DEAN of the faculty and his MARKETING TEAM.

It was so scary!!!!

The reason why i said i improved a little in my presentation was due to the presentation. I noticed that throughout my speech, i had at least looked up at the audience throughout my speech.

Okay, i know you guys might think it's nothing but to me it feels like a really big leap from having my eyes always glued to the speech in my hands to sometimes looking at the audience.

so.... back to the main topic at hand.

my break kicked start on thursday night and the very next day, i went to a fellow christian friends place for dinner. the evening that day, i even learned to make a dessert and i prepared it for dinner. It was a fruit,rice-custard pudding.

Erm, it might not sound good but i've received good comments from those who had tried it.

Not just that, when my mum made it, all those who ate it had 2nd and 3rd helpings.

Then, on sunday that week -which was last sunday, my family went to Perisher!

We went there with a couple of malay families.

It was enjoyable apart from the waiting for the other families.

We left the house at 6.30am to reach at the meeting point at 7am.

we then journeied to Cooma, our pit-stop. The other families rented some boots from a hire store.

We then continued on our journey and reach an area near our destination at about 11-ish, 12-ish in the afternoon. We had our lunch and changed.... and proceeded to our destination which is Perisher.

on the way climbing up Perisher, we had to stop to fit on snow chains to continue on.

that process nearly took up an hour. the real disappointing thing is, the snow chain my dad bought did not fit the car's tyres.

apart from that, we saw snow!!!!

i mean FRESH SNOW FROM THE SKY!!!!!

kids ran out of their cars and took pictures and ran around while the men still trying to fit the snow chains.

then the reall dissappointment came which was, my family could continue to drive up to the lookout where there are more snow. there were ppl guarding the road and they only allow 4-W drives and snow chain fitted 2-W drives up. In the end, my family stayed at the stop where the guards were.

The rest went up to the lookout.

My family left at about 2.30pm to drive back down to the nearest town. There we slept for a bit.

We continued to wait until 7PM!!!! i repeat 7PM! for the other families to get to us.

I turned out that the rest was stuck in the blizzard.

We all then journeyed to my dad's friend's place for dinner at 10+ at night....

by the time my family reached home, it was close to midnight...

that sure was a tiring day.

the next few days was alright. i was just lazing around at home until yesterday (thursday)

my brother and i went over to a friend's place for dinner. it's a really small group but we had fun chatting over dinner.

and today... i'm blogging!!!!

hahaha

it's been ages since i last updatted my blog so i decided to post something... haha

i'll upadate again and the next time, it will be pictures from perisher!!!!

BTW, Perisher and Snowy Mountain are 2 different places~

last night i got the opportunity to sleep early and i did,

Hey ppl!

I'm in Uni right now, guess what?
I manage to drag my brother along!
Haha!

The purpose of this trip is just to get my book list and pay fees.
I manage to do all that and the initial 30min trip became and hour + trip.
Currently, we are in the computer lab downloading games(bro wanted) and
the very anime i wanted to watch for some time.

hey guys,

i finally mange to have time to update my blog.

it's been hectic lately.

i've got so many things to share and tell.

the one that really is on top of my head is the fact that

jae joong, junsu, changmin and yoochun of DBSK/TVXQ is right now in Australia!!!

word has it is JaeSuChun are in Sydney for their holidays.

Then Changmin is here for the filming of his drama, Paradise Meadow.

At first, i really do feel excited about this. Sydney is only 3 hours away from where i am staying.

Then the fact that Sydney is big and there are many ppl on the streets + the high rise buildings

too make it even harder to spot them.

Knowing these, my mind still play images that might happen if i were to meet them...

a) i go all fan girly and scream

b) i stand there petrified and rooted on the spot

c) i smile and act calmly - approach them, introduce myself and bla bla bla...

ok ok i wont go into more details...

i don't want to torture you all with my current stress.

It seems so impossible now to be able to meet them.

I do agree with my friend Jane about me being so close to them yet they are still so far from me.

this is just plain torture.

okay, next is

the fact that i am currently working is also killing me.

The part where i get money flowing into my bank account is fine by me but

the part where i have to work with my senior and co-workers is also torture.

It really is draining me mentally and physically. I have to watch every step i take,

everything that comes out of my mouth and also worry about doing the right thing.

Oh, i'm working in a boutique selling dresses called Harts btw.

okay, other than that, i wont go deeper into details.

Digging back my memories of me working for the past month is just to painful.

ever since my bro's school holiday has started, my internet time has been cut down drastically.

He practically hogs the com and internet! I can say that he will be on the com once

he wakes up from sleep until he goes to bed, with a few breaks in the middle which consist of

eating, drinking and bath.

+ with my working hours, once i'm back i'm tired and my mum will be using the internet then.

How then can i use the internet?!

next, with my time right now, the idea of writing in a dairy seems more appealing to me

right now then fighting for the use of internet and also trying to get myself alone to write in my blog entry....

with all that is happening right now, the thing that really influences me the most is no1. *points up*

with that i can conclude that whatever i do right now (including all the others that i had stated)

will not bare fruit because

I went to UC to collect my assignment.
On the way towards the designated building and after a flight of stairs,
i spotted this between the metal quotes(it's something like a monument)...

it's a rabbit!
ever since the first day i set foot on UC, i have not seen one so this is a surprise. ^o^

after collecting my assignment, it was time for lunch.
I went to the refractory and bought mixed berry yogurt!
I have been noticing ppl eating it and it does looks delicious...

(sorry that the picture quality isn't so good. I was bored so i decided to use my
camera phone and snap some pictures)
the mixed berries are blueberry,raspberry and blackberry...

after enjoying my yogurt under the shade during the hot day, i got really bored
so i took a pictures of my surroundings.

last wednesday was a tiring day. i slept at about 3am and had to get up at 8am,

got ready by 9am. i was supposed to be out of the house then but mum was busy so i helped to

hang the clothes to dry.

in the end i got to uni at 10.25am.

i had a long day.... 10.30am - 12.30pm class non stop then a break till 4pm which

i use it for lunch and on the internet to research for my group assignment.

i'm doing a case study on the australian's Falls Festival.

oh so after break i have to ruch all the way to the other end of the campus to my class

which is in the boiler house. class then went on till 5.30pm.

After class, got home manage to have early dinner, rest awhile and spent about an hour on the internet...

well, i checked my mail and talked to a few friends....

then i went out at about 7+? not too sure.

i went out with my mum and dad to deliver newspapers and got back at about 10+

yea... so i had a late bath...

it was sooooooo COLD!!!!!!

the thing about COFFIN is that i was so exhausted and on the way back to my house at night,

i practically had my eyes closed and some stupid annoying noise disturb my resting time!

we were at the traffic lights so i looked around....

the noise originated from a car engine. it sounded like those engines from motocycles that

are really loud-like the racing type.

yea and the car had the number plate > COFFIN

hahaha

oh when the lights turned green, that car sped away, NOISILY!

i don't know if the number plate was on purpose or anything

but from the way they are driving, tey will end up in a coffin sooner or later....

just the other day, in my event development class,
there was a bird at the window...
obviously the window is closed and the weather was cold,wet and windy....

halfway through the lecture,
my lecturer pointed out that there's a bird at the window.
the bird seemed to want to enter the room but could not.
the bird kept on knocking/flying into the window!
it's so pitiful but it's cute~

Hi…… again.

Okay, my mum told me my grandma is coming over for a visit.
Yes my grandma…. My long lost grandma.
It had been 9 years since I last seen her and the last occasion that I
Met her was my beloved step-aunt’s funeral.
I’m not trying to be sarcastic bout the beloved step-aunt part.
I really meant it.
Even though I had only spent a few years knowing her,
I grew to love her and she was n is my MOST fav aunt when compared
To my aunts at my father’s side.
……
Wait.
I don’t have any fav aunt at my father’s side. So that makes it she’s my
ONLY favourite aunt.

I was 10 when she passed away.
I managed to attend her wedding dinner though.
It was barely 3 months after her wedding before she passed away.
After that, I never went to Singapore.
FYI, my grandma lives in Singapore, so does my step-aunt and step-uncle.
The reason why to me having a step aunt and uncle is bcos,
My grandma divorce her first husband and married another.
My mum and uncle is the children of her husband while… you can guess.
For all the years, my mum and grandma had not been in contact.
Suddenly here she is contacting us and said she wanna come visit.

You know what I feel like?
I feel like shouting!
She’s been ignoring us all these years and now she’s coming?
Wanna say sorry? NO!
She’s only coming to visit is because my step-uncle has been transferred to Sydney.
So the main reason to why she is visiting is b’cos her oh-favourite son is in Sydney.

Then if he’s not transferred here means she will never come to visit us?
If not, she will never care for this family?
My brother and I are her only grandchildren and here she didn’t contact us.

I hate it.
And my mum is all forgiving
“she’s my mother and the bible says that we should honour your parents”
That’s what she says.
I cant stand this.

Oh and you know what? She had already arrived and spent the weekend here.
My step-uncle is nice to talk to.
He’s still single and my step- aunt never had the chance to conceive due
to cancer and died. That’s why my brother and I are her only grandchildren.
We watched movies together…. Of course from the computer!
Hahaha cinemas here are expensive.

I had actually not made any body contact with my grandma.
She talks non stop here. And she does help my mum in the kitchen when she cooks for us.
I guess she’s catching up with my mum? Or she is feeling sorry….

I do wonder if she regrets it….
I wonder is she did actually miss us…
My uncle is not in talking terms with my grandma
So I say, serves her right?

I dunno…
I got so many emotions about this….
I hate to think a bout it.
It only makes me angry.

So I practically used up my first week to try to get myself to relax.

When the second week came, I started to loosen up.

When I finally manage to relax, it was already the end of the break.

I tell you, I had a hell of the time trying to get myself organize.

I was still in the relaxing mood though in the second week after classes started.

it's already week four over here in my 2nd semester....

anyway, here in every semester, we go by weeks.
In a semester, there are about 15 weeks of studies...
that is not inclusive of the examination period
so, if all the units(subjects) that i take/took dont have a paper during the examination period,
i'm LUCKY!!!!!
if not i would have to start my holidaying later.... as in about a month later,
unless the papers i have to sit are all in the beginning of the examination month...
last semester, i had only one paper in the examination month.
this sem, i have 2.........

Creativity and Critique is the name of my foundation subject.
Branding The News is the name of the assignment.

first, we are broken up into groups of 2 or 3.
we were then required to find a piece of news in the required time line given.
the next step is to understand the news and reproduce the news in the form of art.
We are to reproduce the news in the form of a tile.
The requirements are not to use human form or the object itself mentioned in the newspaper cutting.
we have to make sure that it is not too subjective or not too direct.

so, this is the outcome of the assignment.

i'm actually quite happy with the result.

the only thing that i wasn't really happy is the process of building the tile....
i did most of the job on this which i am not happy about.
1. I was the one to go all over the place to get the polystyrene for the tile.
2. the newspaper cutting is the one I found and my partner didn't even get any newspaper cutting.
3.i did all the pasting and touching up of the polystyrene that was used to stick on the tile.
4. I did the 300 word essay to accompany the tile.

the only thing that my partner did was to help search for the polystyrene, buy the black paint and paint some of the polystyrene.

the thing that we did together was to arrange how to put the polystyrene and paint it.
i had LOTS of disagreement to the arrangement of the polystyrene but i GAVE IN.
sigh.

overall im happy because i got a DISTINCTION!!!!

i got some good news!

anyway,
what i am about to say here is not on that but
on the fact that he had changed his marital status last weekend!
hahaha

it's good news!!!
he share with us (iFocus) what he did to propose to her...
hahaha

it's funny yet, ermm....
i dont know...
hahaha
all i can think of is funny!

it started last friday,
nick invited his gf over for dinner.
he had set up his garage.
he decorated the walls with candles by using blue tack to stick it and
he also got a bowl filled with water which had candles and rose petals floating in it.
the table was set up for 2 with rose petals on it too
and also there were red and white papers used for decorations...
this part im not so sure what kind of papers he used but i am imagining,
the type of paper that reflects light?
hahaha

so they had dinner.
nick had ask his 3 friends to help out as well.
2 guys and a girl.
one guy became the waiter. the other became the entertainer (he juggles 5-6 balls at once)
the girl then plays the violin...
haha
so you guys can imagine how the scene is right?

after dinner, they went out for a movie.
erm. this part he said it was romantic but i CANT agree.
they went out and watch wolverine!
how on earth can he say that it was romantic?!
*shakes head*

anyway,
on sat, he had his ring ready.
He brought her to the king george lake.
they went there for a picnic. so with a basket of food and some mat,
they walked to the center of the lake and sat down there.
oh and if you guys are wondering what the hell i'm typing about them walking
to the center of the lake,
i'm telling u guys that its true. the lake had dried up for ages...
hahaha!!!
nick had wanted to propose to her that day but due to the weather, she was shivering
so he canceled the plan and brought her to borders at civic. they had their food there in the cafe.
okay.
concluded, on sat, he did not manage to propose to her.

on sunday,
nick ask his friend to help out.
his gf, helps out teaching year 5 and 6 kids in sunday school.
he had printed out on the pieces of card with a single letter.
nick's friend then arranges the kids in the way where the letters are arranged.
so all the kids were lined up.
note that nick's gf was busy cleaning up and didn't see it.

nick was about to use this opportunity to propose but something happend.
suddenly a kid read out the whole sentence!
that kid read out "will you marry me?"
and nick's gf kinda screamed what?! and turned around.
Nick quickly went into the room and went on his knees and did the sweet talking thing...
and wa lah!
dang dang dang!
his marital status changed!
hahaha

oh yea, and after nick's gf agreed, there was a boy at the side lines hold on his head shaking
and say "No!!! i'm too young for this!!!"

this is the thing that made me laugh so much!!!!

oh and some of the kids are still clueless on whats going on...
some cant believe if its real...
hahahaha!!!
funny man!!!
